BCC President Receives Award for Excellence in Community Service
网曝吃瓜 (BCC) President Dr. Gene Smith was presented with the Award for Excellence in Community Service by the Southport-Oak Island Kiwanis Club during a gathering held on campus. The award recognizes President Smith鈥檚 visionary leadership in higher education and his ongoing commitment to expanding educational access and student success in Brunswick County and beyond.
Members of the BCC Trustees, senior leadership, and family attended the presentation. The award highlights President Smith鈥檚 dedication to building strong community partnerships, developing new academic pathways, and cultivating a campus culture grounded in service, respect, excellence, opportunity, and integrity.
